ZFX: Dollar bounces as sentiment become cautious in European session
21-08-2020 09:13
Dollar index bounces back to 93 level on Friday after the European market opening. EUR/USD dropped to 1.18, the day low so far. The European markets followed the positive handover of the Asian session. However, the overall sentiment once again turns to cautious.
Investors were doubtful about the labor market of the US, after the mixed jobless data from the US Labor Department on Thursday.
Another key focus was the tension between China and the US. Trump’s administration declined to acknowledge claims by China’s commerce ministry that the officials of both countries will review the phase-one trade deal in the coming days.
