The stock markets in Asian region were a bit choppy amid many uncertainties.

The Dow and the S&P 500 were good in the early US trading session on Tuesday. However, the three major Wall Street indexes eventually all fell, of which the Nasdaq dropped the most, nearly 1.7%. The gold market experienced a crash-like drop, which was a significant adjustment under the risk aversion condition.

The growing China-US tensions would be the long term and persistent issue. President Trump said his relationship with Chinese President Xi has frayed after the pandemic and he said that it is not likely to negotiate the second phase of trade agreement.

More than 20.4 million cases have been confirmed in the pandemic, with more than 740000 deaths, as the latest report.

ZFX analyst Jacob Leung said that, the vaccine news from Russia, the US latest PPI figures, the new round of fiscal stimulus package in the US and the bond yield trend, are all the factors generating uncertainties in the market, which caused correction.
